Welcome to the 13th Annual Empty Bowl Benefit, hosted by the Calgary Food Bank, in partnership with Color Me Mine!
- the event raises funds to help address hunger in Calgary
- it also raises awareness of the issue itself
On April 17, local media personalities, artists and athletes spent their day at the Calgary Food Bank.
- each painted a ceramic dish in their own unique way
- many of the participants attached swag, too!
This year there was a bit of a twist!
The Calgary Food Bank is very proud of our hundreds of agency partnerships, and we wanted to find a way to highlight the amazing work some of them do in our community with our help, so.....
- we asked them to provide information about themselves, including:
- who they are
- their services
- their clients
- how they work together with the Calgary Food Bank to accomplish all that they do
- a story of the impact of their work

The Calgary Food Bank is very excited to celebrate organizations working together to better our community. We thank all who participated for the collaboration and generosity of spirit and time. The impact of everyone working together to better where we live cannot be understated.
All proceeds from the auction will benefit the Calgary Food Bank/JP Morgan Food Link Program, of which all the highlighted agencies are a part.
